The Maldives on Saturday recorded 47 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), the new cases are of 43 Maldivians and 4 foreigners. This brings the total number of positive cases to 2,664.

HPA also announced 30 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,268. The number of active cases is 368, and 13 deaths have been recorded to date.
