An online portal has been established to submit building drawings and other documents to the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
The portal was launched by Planning Minister Mohamed Aslam in a ceremony held at HDC. Following the introduction of the system, HDC said they have been working to enhance the company's services. It includes providing services in an environmentally friendly manner, and adopting environmentally friendly concepts for the projects implemented in Hulhumale’.
According to HDC, over 43,000 drawings are submitted to the company annually, and with the introduction of the online portal, it will enable an easy solution for those who seek approval for drawings of the buildings constructed in Hulhumale’.
With the launch of this portal, it will enable paperless drawings to be submitted for approval which will ease the tasks of numerous parties. The approval procedure has now become solely paperless, said HDC.
Customers can view the status of the drawings submitted for approval via the portal, and they will be sent notifications messages stating the progress of the work.
