The Health Emergency Operations Centre, HEOC on Monday said 92 COVID-19 patients are currently admitted at medical facilities.
According to the Health Emergency Operations Centre, HEOC, 87 people are admitted at the Hulhumale’ Medical Facility while three are hospitalized at Dharumavantha Hospital. Two more patients are admitted at B. Eydhafushi COVID centre and Sh. Funadhoo COVID centre.
As of Monday night, six were being treated in ICU with two on ventilator support. While 5 patients were admitted at the ICU in Hulhumale’ Medical Facility, two are on ventilator support. The sixth patient is admitted at the ICU in Dharumavantha Hospital.
The Maldives has recorded 4,293 positive cases until now. The number of positive cases and deaths have been rising rapidly over the past week, with the archipelago recording its 19th COVID-19 death on Tuesday morning.
