Heritance Aarah becomes first Maldives resort listed as BBC travel partner

Heritance Aarah Maldives has been listed as a BBC World News travel partner. The resort becomes the first Maldives property to be listed as BBC travel partner.

Heritence Aarah is a US$ 50 million investment by Sri Lanka’s Aitken Spence Hotels. The property developed in Raa atoll boasts 157 villas, including family villas, beach villas, pool villas and water villas. The luxurious island caters to high end clientele with 25 luxury water villas and presidential water suites.

Located 40 minutes away from Velana International Airport, the island has an overwater spa with six rooms. Sri Lanka’s famous ‘Adaaran’ brand operates six resorts in the Maldives, and has over 20 properties across the world.
