British Airways to resume flights to Maldives mid-October

British Airways will resume operation to the Maldives on October 16th.

British Airways have been operating flights to the Maldives since 2015. The flights were suspended after the Maldives closed its borders as a precautionary measure against COVID-19. The borders were reopened on July 15, and a negative PCR test is required for tourists to enter the Maldives.

According to the airline, flights to the Maldives from Heathrow International Airport are scheduled to return on October 16.

Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Director of Network and Alliances said the airline is glad to be returning to more destinations and connecting the UK with more countries around the world.

Three scheduled flights will operate to the Maldives every week on Sunday, Monday and Thursday.
