Entry and exit from HDh. Kulhudhuffushi city have been restricted.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Saturday sent a notice to the city council informing of the new restrictions imposed on the island. The restrictions will remain in place until instructed otherwise.
Entry and exit has been restricted in Kulhudhuffushi while a large number of police officers stationed at the island tested positive for COVID-19. Four cases, which includes elderly people and children, tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
The Maldives on Saturday recorded a new low 24 new cases of COVID-19. The country’s tally is at 11,178 while 36 deaths have been recorded to date. The number of active cases is 1,138.
