Maldives Police Service on Tuesday arrested a person in connection to the altercation that took place between two gangs in southernmost Addu City.
The detained individual is a 25-year old Maldivian man, and he was arrested under court order. The dispute between two gangs on Monday left a man severely wounded. The victim was stabbed with a sharp object in various parts of his body including his hands and fingers, causing severe injuries. Despite his serious condition after the incident, Equatorial Hospital has assured that his condition is improving.
