South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) will be held on December 15. This is the fifth consecutive year the event is being held.
According to local company High Rise, which is the organizer of the event, the evaluations of all nominations for the awards have been completed, and the awarding ceremony will be held on Tuesday. While this year’s ceremony will be held virtually, the decision to hold the ceremony over the internet was made as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
Over 1,000 nominations have been received for 52 award categories. Several regional organizations have endorsed the yearly event.
