A contract has been awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) for the development of a regional port at GDh. Thinadhoo. The project was awarded to MTCC by Maldives Ports Limited (MPL).
MPL has been given a land area of 10,800 square meters by the Thinadhoo council for the development of the port. The scope of the project include the dredging of 4500 cubic meters, the construction of a 3,000 square meter pavement, the establishment of a smart water system, and fencing the port area.
The MVR 15 million project is to be completed within 45 days.
