The President of Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that he looks forward to working together with the US. The president made the statement in his congratulatory message posted on Twitter on the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the 46th President and 49th Vice President of the United States.
In his message, the president said Maldives and the US are friends and partners. He added that he looks forward to working with the new administration to grow the friendship and further the shared values between both countries.
