President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Sunday appointed Mohamed Fazeen as a member of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (MBC).
Fazeen, well-established in the field, graduated with a Diploma in Information Technology from Villa College in July 2010. He started his journalism career in March 2012 in Channel News Maldives (CNM) and later served as a Senior Video Journalist at Raajje TV from February 2014. He also has a background in hotel management and operations.
After presenting Fazeen with the Letter of Appointment at a ceremony held at the President's Office, President Solih met him and discussed pertinent issues related to the broadcasting sector.
MBC is an independent body mandated to govern the Broadcasting Act's implementation.
