Two COVID-19 deaths have been recorded in Maldives thus far on Sunday.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), an 81-year old Maldivian male admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility passed away at 02:38 am. A 30 year old female admitted at the same center passed away at 04:30 am, raising the archipelago's toll to 96.
23 deaths have been reported thus far this month.
The Maldives' COVID-19 tally is currently at 43,782. Over 1000 cases were reported over the past 24 hours, out of which 793 cases were from the Greater Male' Region.
