The Maldives on Tuesday reported 768 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 373 cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 372 cases were reported from the atolls, including resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 65,164 cases, out of which 24,035 cases are active at this time. 208 people are currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.
The Maldives recorded eight COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours. This increases the country's toll to 169.
