The Maldives on Thursday reported 648 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 349 cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 286 cases were reported from the atolls, including resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 66,516 cases, out of which 23,375 cases are active at this time. 197 people are currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.
The Maldives recorded three COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours. This increases the country's toll to 174.
