The Maldives on Friday reported 432 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 249 cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 183 cases were reported from the atolls, including resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 66,948 cases, out of which 21,032 cases are active at this time. 213 people are currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.
The Maldives recorded three COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours. This increases the country's toll to 177.
