The Maldives on Saturday reported 590 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 389 cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 201 cases were reported from the atolls, including resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 67,538 cases, out of which 20,014 cases are active at this time. 191 people are currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.
The Maldives recorded four COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours. This increases the country's toll to 182.
