The Maldives on Monday reported 552 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 271 cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 280 cases were reported from the atolls, including resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 68,502, out of which 18,462 cases are active at this time. 164 people are currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.
The Maldives recorded three COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours. This increases the country's toll to 188.
