The Maldives on Wednesday reported 341 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 160 cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 182 cases were reported from the atolls, including resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 69,231, out of which 15,621 cases are active at this time. 146 people are currently hospitalized and receiving treatment.
The Maldives recorded two COVID-19 deaths over the past 24 hours. This increases the country's toll to 191.
