The Maldives on Wednesday reported 138 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 13 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 112 cases were reported from the atolls, including resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 73,798.
While 3,602 cases are active at this time, 28 people are currently hospitalized. No COVID-19 deaths were announced over the last 24 hours, and the country's toll remains at 210.
