The Maldives on Wednesday reported 139 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 26 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 89 cases were reported from the atolls, including 8 from resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 74,724.
While 2,932 cases are active at this time, 22 people are currently hospitalized. No COVID-19 deaths were announced over the last 24 hours, and the country's toll remains at 213.
