Daily stats: 60 cases from islands under development

The Maldives on Tuesday reported 170 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 19 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 85 cases were reported from the atolls, including 7 cases from resorts. 60 cases were recorded from islands under development. This increases the archipelago's tally to 75,335.

While 2,537 cases are active at this time, 17 people are currently hospitalized. No COVID-19 deaths were announced over the last 24 hours the country's toll remains at 214.
