According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 49-year-old local male admitted at the Hulhumale Medical Facility passed away at 00:17 am. This is the 216th COVID-19 death in the Maldives.
While the Maldives has recorded 75,622 COVID-19 cases to date, 2,561 cases are active at this time. 14 patients are currently hospitalized. 217 positive cases were recorded over the past 24 hours.
