The Maldives on Saturday reported 80 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 16 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 64 cases were reported from the atolls, including 8 cases from resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 75,816.
While 2,516 cases are active at this time, 23 people are currently hospitalized. No COVID-19 deaths were announced over the last 24 hours, and the country's toll remains at 214.
