The Maldives has recorded an additional COVID-19 death.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 60-year old local Male' admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility passed away at 11:43 pm on Friday night. This increases the archipelago's COVID-19 toll to 219.
While the Maldives has recorded 76,546 COVId-19 cases to date, the number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is decreasing day by day. Currently, 2,606 cases are active. 11 patients are receiving treatment at healthcare facilities.
