Entry and exit have been restricted from R. Ungofaaru after a COVID-19 case was identified on the island.
According to the Health Protecton Agency (HPA), the authority's monitoring mechanisms have been activated on the island. The island will remain under rmonitoring until HPA's investigation into the case is concluded.
14 islands are currently under HPA's monitoring satus. They are Fuvahmulaku City, R. Dhuvaafaru, Ga. Kooddoo, Sh. Foakaidhoo, GDh. Nadella, K. Kaashidhoo, HDh. Kulhudhuffushi City, Ha. Dhidhdhoo, M. Kolhufushi, Sh. Feevah, Ha. Thakandhoo, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo and Ga. Villingili.
