A COVID-19 death has been recorded in Fuvahmulah City.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 94-year old Maldivian male brought to Gn. Fuvahmulah Atoll HOspital was declared dead at 09:00 am on Tuesday. He was positive for COVID-19. This is the 222nd COVID-29 death in the Maldives.
The Maldives has recorded 77.633 positive cases of COVID-19 to date. 2,472 cases are active at this time.
