Drugs worth over MVR 15 million have been seized from a Brazilian national who arrived in the Maldives.
According to Maldives Customs Service, the luggage of the 31-year-old woman was checked at Velana International Airport (VIA) on Friday, upon which 3.197 kilograms of cocaine was discovered. The street value of the drugs is over 15.9 million, customs said.
