COVID-19: 103 positive cases over 24 hours

The Maldives on Friday recorded 103 positive cases of COVID-19.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), out of the 4,921 samples tested over the past 24 hours, 20 positive cases were recorded from the Greater Male' Region while 68 cases were reported from the atolls. 15 cases were reported from resorts. This increases the archipelago's tally to 80,539.

While 1,607 cases are active at this time, 11 people are currently hospitalized. No COVID-19 deaths were announced over the last 24 hours, and the country's toll remains at 225. The most recent COVID-19 deaths were recorded last Monday.
