The Maldives recorded an additional COVID-19 death early Friday.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 46-year-old Maldivian female admitted at Hulhumale' Medical Facility passed away at 03:02 am on Friday. This is the 230th COVID-19 death in the Maldives.
After a devastating wave of infections, the Maldives' situation has now improved, and the number of COVID-19 deaths being recorded has declined significantly.
