The Maldives recorded a new COVID-19 death on Satuday.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), an 80-year-old Maldivian male admitted at Sh. Covid Management Facility passed away at 02:30 pm on Saturday. This is the 231st COVID-19 death in the Maldives, and the fifth death this month.
After a devastating wave of infections, the Maldives' COVID-19 situation has improved, and the number of deaths being recorded has significantly declined.
