The construction of a private school in Hulhumale' Phase II has been contracted to Islanders Pvt. Ltd.
The project agreement was signed at a ceremony held at Hulhumale' Development Corporation (HDC) on Saturday. The agreement was signed by HDC's Managing Director Suhail Ahmed and Managing Director of Islander's Education, Ahmed Adhly Rasheed.
Islanders Education runs three schools in Male' City - Kangaroo Kids International School, Billabong High International School and Finland International School.
While the number of families living in Hulhumale' Phase II is increasing, the government has plans to build 14 schools in the area. The construction of some schools have already been awarded to companies.
The construction of two private schools in Hulhumale' Phase I were contracted earlier this year to Villa Education Service and Kuwait's Aljeri Holding Group.
