Home Minister Imran Abdulla and Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed have departed on tour to northern atolls.
Imran and CP Hameed will be visiting Haa Alif, Haa Dhaal, Shaviyani atoll, and some islands of Raa atoll that are part of the North Police.
Maldives Police Service said the Home Minister and CP would visit Ha. Thuraakunu and officially inaugurate police service on the island by opening the island's Police Desk. Neighborhood Police service will also be inaugurated in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi.
On their visit to Sh. atoll, the pair will visit Feydhoo island and officially open the island's police post. Following the visit to Sh. atoll, they will travel to R. Hulhudhuffaaru and inaugurate the island's police post. They will also visit R. Ungoofaaru.
The minister and commissioner are accompanied by senior police officers. The trip will conclude on November 7.
