Turkish Airlines increases frequency of flights to the Maldives

Turkish Airlines has increased the frequency of flights operated to the Maldives.

Turkey's national carrier has been operating a daily flight to the Maldives every day of the week. The airline will now be increasing the frequency of flights to 11 flights a week, with additional flights scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Airlines usually increase the number of flights for the month of December due to a large influx of tourists visiting the Maldives. It is not known whether this is a temporary change to coincide with the peak tourism season or a permanent change.

The seventh-most number of tourists travel to the Maldives via Turkish Airlines.
