The police have arrested a robber who fell down an air shaft while attempting to rob the building.
The police media official told AVAS that they received reports of a robber who fell down a ventilation shaft early Saturday at 02:54 am. While a 41-year-old has been arrested in connection to the robbery, the police confirmed that the arrested man was the same person who fell down the ventilation shaft. The police said the man did not sustain any injuries in the fall.
Over the past weeks, robberies have increased in Male' City. The police have urged the public to take necessary precautions when traveling during the current term break.
