Maldives Correctional Service has commenced a rehabilitation program at Maafushi Jail.
Corrections said the second phase of the Rehabilitation Framework would be conducted for three months. Sixteen male inmates and four female inmates are taking part in the program.
The Rehabilitation Framework was introduced to reform inmates and equip them with education and skills to reintegrate them back into society as people who can earn for themselves and stay away from criminal environments.
