Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has announced waste collection service hours for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
According to WAMCO, garbage will be collected from households in Male', Villimale' and Hulhumale; between 8:00 pm and 12:00 am.
Waste Transfer Station services will be available every day except Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. The service hours for Fridays are from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and 8:00 pm and 1:00 am.
WAMCO said commercial collection services would be available every day except Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm to 04:00 am. The service hours for Fridays are from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and 10:00 pm and 1:00 am.
Call-and-pick-up Services (CAPS) will be provided from 09:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 08:00 pm to 01:00 am. On Fridays, CAPS will be available from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 08:00 pm to 01:00 am.
Road-sweeping will be carried out by WAMCO staff from 09:00 pm until 03:00 am in Ramadan.
