A delegation from Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry has arrived in the Maldives. The delegation is visiting the Maldives at the invitation of Home Minister Imran Abdulla.
Minister Imran met the delegation at the Home Ministry on Monday.
The nine-member delegation, led by Major General Nasser Osman al-Nasser, discussed further strengthening of bilateral relations and assistance in internal security matters. They also discussed areas where assistance could be provided.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with senior officials of the Maldives Police Service and the Maldives Correctional Service.
Minister Imran Abdulla visited Saudi Arabia earlier in March this year at the invitation of Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister.
