The man arrested for attempting to attack Nolhivaram MP Mohamed Nasheed Abdullah (Mosta), has been remanded in custody for 30 days.
Last Tuesday night, MP Nasheed was attacked after exited his home and was about to mount his motorcycle. While an 18-year-old man was arrested in the case, the police confirmed that he had been remanded in custody for 30 days.
The Criminal Court remand order said there was enough evidence to implicate the suspect.
