The police have issued important safety recommendations for individuals planning to travel during the school holidays and Eid holidays.
These measures include ensuring the security of their homes by properly locking them before departure, taking precautions to prevent fire hazards, safeguarding valuable assets like motorcycles and cars, assessing the safety of their vessels prior to trips, and checking weather conditions before setting off on their journey.
In addition, as the holiday season entails increased travel and recreational activities like swimming, the police emphasized the importance of prioritizing personal safety and security while enjoying time at the beach. The police advised to consider factors such as the tide and take necessary precautions before heading to the beach, and strongly advised to closely supervise children, ensuring their safety by attentively monitoring their every movement.
The police also urged the public to remain vigilant against fraudulent schemes aimed at obtaining money and property. They warned against answering calls related to dubious promotions or gifts and advised to exercise caution and refrain from sharing sensitive information such as cash card details and OTP codes, as well as avoiding visiting links sent by unknown individuals.
