The website is accessible in both English and Dhivehi. It features information, news, and general announcements about the Democrats' activities.
With the presidential election drawing closer, the Democrats have announced a candidate and a running mate for the upcoming presidential election. The party's candidate MP Ilyas Labeeb and running mate Hussain Amr are currently campaigning in the atolls.
The Democrats are a break-away party of the main-ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).
