Revisions following complaints to flat list now available on portal

The complaints submitted regarding the interim list of flat recipients under the government's Housing Scheme have been reviewed, the Planning Ministry has said.

The Planning Ministry released the interim list of flat recipients on August 8, setting the deadline for submitting complaints to August 22.

The ministry said the changes brought after reviewing the complaints can now be viewed from the "Gedhoruverin Portal". The ministry is working to publicize the permanent list of flat recipients next week. Teams from the ministry are currently visiting households to assess the living conditions of those who qualified for the flats before the permanent list is finalized.

In total, the ministry received 14,489 applications for 2,800 three-bedroom flats and 6,208 applications for 1,200 two-bedroom flats. These flats are developed by Fahi Living Corporation, with the two-bedroom flats measuring 650 square feet and the three-bedroom flats measuring 900 square feet.
