Seven individuals have been arrested with drugs in an operation conducted by the police following a tip-off received by police intelligence.
The operation was conducted on July 16 in Hulhumale' as a collaboration between the police Drug Enforcement Unit and Intelligence Unit. Two apartments and two cars were searched under a court order during the operation.
According to the police, drugs discovered during the raid weighed approximately 1 kg. The arrested individuals, aged between 18 and 39, were subsequently brought before the Criminal Court and remanded in custody for 10 days.
Drug Enforcement Unit is actively investigating the case.
