The verdict issued by Criminal Court on former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb has been filed for appeal in High Court. Adeeb had been sentenced to serve 10 years in jail for possessing a pistol.
Terror charges had been filed against the deposed Vice President. The state and witnesses had attested that Adeeb had a pistol the day before May Day and that a pistol was discovered in his Rehendhi flat as well.
The state's verdict said that Adeeb and his defense had not been able to prove that he was not guilty of the charges.
