Maldives police have recovered money stolen from a room in an unidentified resort.
Police said 19,500 Dinar, 600 Euro 49 US Dollars and an iPad were found hidden in another guest room and its garden.
Police refused to name the resort but said the theft was reported to the police station in Kaafu Atoll Himmafushi island on Thursday.
An unidentified 33 year old Indian expatriate worker was questioned over the theft before he was released, police said.
