Opposition Pres candidate flies to Singapore for campaign talks

Opposition coalition nominated presidential candidate for the upcoming presidential polls Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Tuesday has flown to Singapore.

The opposition presidential campaign spokesperson Mariya Ahmed Didi confirmed Solih was flying to meet with respective campaign teams at both Singapore and Malaysia; to discuss campaign activities.

Earlier Solih visited United Kingdom to attend the graduation ceremony of one of his children, post initiating campaign works throughout Maldives.

The Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) backed presidential candidate traveled back to Maldives capital on Monday after concluding his campaign trip to Baa atoll.

In his visit to the islands of Baa atoll Solih had acquired public opinion regarding the opposition's campaign manifesto.
