Opposition presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's spouse Fazna Ahmed who is mostly absent from political activities and rallies made her first appearance in such an event on Tuesday evening.
While Solih's spouse has been visibly absent from political rallies, she was present during Tuesday evening's special session organized by RaajjeTV discuss the opposition candidate's governance policies and plans.
Although Fazna Ahmed made her first ever appearance in a political event, her husband earlier noted she will not be involved in any manner of political affairs.
However, Solih stressed Fazna's academic proficiency and noted she will be visible from social causes.
Unlike the opposition presidential candidate, his ruling party counterpart's spouse First Lady of Maldives, Fathimath Ibrahim is active and campaigning across atolls.
