The Maldivian government has made the decision to award MVR 535,000 to Fathimath Dheema Ali for her success in the Indian Ocean Island Games.
Last July, 11-year old Dheema won three gold medals for the country in the Table Tennis category. She won gold medal in the women's team event, doubles event as well as the singles.
The government previously announced that the the cost of her training will be borne by the government.
