A contract has been awarded to V-Ava investment Private Limited to construct a 4-story building at HDh. Kulhudhuffushi School.
The building can accommodate 12 classrooms.
Agreements were exchanged Monday between Education Ministry and V-Ava Pvt Limited, with State Minister Ahmed Riyaz signing the documents on behalf of the government. Manager of the company Fathimath Laisa Latheef signed the agreement on behalf of V-Ava Investments.
Education Ministry said the 12 classrooms being constructed under the project will be ready for use by September 2020. The project was contracted for MVR 8 million to be completed within 12 months.
The project is being funded under Education Ministry's PSIP budget. State Minister had previously revealed that 20 projects will be contracted under the PSIP budget.
