A character building workshop to develop responsible citizens has commenced in Vaavu atoll.
The workshop is organized by the Home Ministry targeting the islands in Vaavu atoll. Home Ministry stated more that 40 participants from across the atoll are taking part in the workshop, including those representing government entities and organizations. The workshop was inaugurated by Keyodhoo Council President Ahmed Yoosuf.
In this workshop, information will be provided by ten different entities, including Maldives Police Services, Gender Ministry, Education Ministry, Health Protection Agency and Local Government Authority.
The workshop is part of a series of similar workshops being organized to raise awareness and help make public more responsible, said the Home Ministry.
