Business Center Cooperation (BCC) is seeking a party to manage a canteen at the "Fannu Expo" slated for November.
The Expo is scheduled to be held at Dharubaaruge from 22 - 28 November. Parties interested in managing the canteen are invited to sign up and attend an information session at 3:00 pm on October 14th at BCC.
BCC is in charge of the concept design and venue organization of the national-level exhibition. In addition to canteen management, they are also looking for a group to construct a stage with sound and light systems in the empty grounds near Dharubaaruge.
Organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, the exhibition aims to promote the creative arts and craftsmanship of the Maldives and will act as a platform to showcase authentic Maldivian products and facilitate market linkages.
There are 78 different participation categories at the expo. Five of the best participants will be selected, and awarded a loan of MVR 1 million. The ministry is working to open a duty-free shop to showcase Maldivian craftsmanship.
